Pickling Pre-Interview with Yossi
Our good friend Yossi recently started making his own pickles. We’ve always loved pickles, especially pickled green beans. So good! Maybe later he’ll talk to us about how he got started, his favorite pickles, and his future hopes and dreams. (Note: the pickles shown are not Yossi’s pickles)
Meatloafing: can i interview you about pickling?
Yossi: uh
Yossi: I don’t really know much about it
Yossi: I’ve followed the same recipe succesfully five times. that’s it.
Meatloafing: i don’t care
Meatloafing: i don’t know many picklers
Yossi: i guess
Meatloafing: do you have a photo of your pickles?
Yossi: i just don’t want to falsely repreesnt the pickling community
Yossi: um
Yossi: what are you asking for, exactly?
Meatloafing: heh
Yossi: heh
Yossi: no
Meatloafing: i will need one
Meatloafing: ![]()
Yossi: ok. it’ll have to be next week sometime. i’m about to go to SD for a few days and probably won’t do any more pickling til I’m back
Meatloafing: what have you pickled?
Meatloafing: i just want to get a sense of where you’re at with pickling
Yossi: just cucumbers. seriously, I’m an amateur.
Meatloafing: thank you for your time. i will follow up later
