Monday, October 12th, 2009Our good friend Oran—a.k.a. Cranberry—just published his highly anticipated (by us) memoir, Long Past Stopping. Yes, Oran’s the son of the Chicken Soup for the Soul guy. We remember LPS in its infancy—a mere Word document, rough but already stewing with the tidbits of a—ahem—fucking crazy life. Drugs, juggling, and anarchy made him one of our favorite people. As I washed my jeans the other night, I wondered how often other people wash theirs. I go as long as possible until they no longer fit properly. With my current jeans that’s probably around five wears, but then I’ll wear them a few more times until they look unfashionably loose in the bottom and I feel frumpy and I’m forced to hit the ‘mat.
