Plowing [Some Adult Content]

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

In honour of yesterday’s (mini-)snowstorm, let’s talk about plowing. Except not the snow kind. Our good friend Bryan, a talented musician who humbly describes himself like so:

i uh… play some guitar
and some drums and some keyboards and some bass
and i like 60s psych and 90s shoegaze and perfect pop of any genre
i can like… carry a tune but the actual tonal quality of my voice kind of sucks
it’s not like a “good voice”
like the kind where people actually enjoy the sound of your voice

The Holiday Loaf: Mollie Cera is Legend

Monday, December 24th, 2007

nyc holiday streets

Have you finished your holiday shopping? I haven’t really started, but I think most of my presents can be purchased at Duane Reade. Mostly I’ve been entertaining (cookie exchange) and not venturing past Food Dimensions. Also would recommend seeing Juno. Will report on Walk Hard after tomorrow.

Benjamin: is it really dead there today?
me: yes
midtown and subwyas were dead too
i took a pic, will post on loaf
Benjamin: get a pic of you in deserted midtown and you can call it Mollie Is Legend
me: i don’t get it but i gather it’s a reference to that movie
Benjamin: well in th emovie will smith is the last person left in manhattan
so it’s deserted except him
me: oh
hehe
i am so full of cookies
it’s given me some digestive issues

Yeah, I’m Excited. Sue Me

Sex and the City: Exclusive Wedding Spoiler Pics

Friday, October 12th, 2007

The Sex and the City movie has been filming all over New York—notably in Midtown, where I work—for the last few weeks. Today in Bryant Park, I caught a glimpse of Mr. Big, SJP, Charlotte, and Miranda. Wheee! Security was tight and so are these photos.
